For many girls in Zambia, education beyond grade 6 is only a dream due to a lack of adequate schools and poverty. At Lifesong Zambia, our hope for every child we serve is for them to not only reach their dreams but ultimately live in the abundance of life with Jesus Christ.
In addition to teaching the students what they need to graduate, our teammates in Zambia remain committed to preparing them for adulthood. Beyond starting a vocational school and teaching employable job skills, Lifesong Zambia has created a series of businesses that employ orphan graduates and caregivers.
William* grew up with both of his parents along with his 5 siblings. When William was 9 years old, his parents separated after many arguments that were not resolved. From that point on, William and his siblings were raised by their mother in a nearby compound. This compound is home to nearly all students at William's school.
